But I believe this advice misses the point. In today’s world, being “just one thing” isn’t as attractive as it used to be. The most valuable employees are those who can transform to meet different needs, not just specialize in one. So instead of squeezing yourself into one box, I say: be a Transformer.

  • You’re skilled in explaining complex topics, a talent that fits into coaching, sales, admissions, or recruiting.
